mixed media Monday's guest hostess is Gillian and she has chosen my favorite theme at the moment.. "Rust" .. i was so pleased it was rust that I spent all of Sunday evening making this picture .. its 18 inches by 12 inches approximately. I don't have a ruler here and I am too lazy to check lol.. if you want to ask anything about how it was made just email :-) x

patience Louise patience lol, well where to start on this beauty, the frame itself is gorgeous, love the scroll detail on the corners and the way the gold leaf bounces off the dips on the side of the frame, the image is magical, fantastic composition, I love this piece so much:)xx

I was out geocaching today and saw a wonderful piece of rusted mesh on the floor in the woods. I thought I would pick it up on my way back out but I couldn't find it again. Sob!

There's one word for this piece....divine! It is rich in detail, depth and has such a lovely glow. Beautiful frame as well that just adds to the effect.
