Dream Canvas (this thursday)

Please click on image to enlarge.

I liked the colours of the bag so much I decided to do a canvas for ME in a similar vein as I will have to part with the bag in August! the canvas 18 inches tall.
I am entering it for the "this Thursday its all about..." Challenge as we have to enter something that we believe to be useful or truly beautiful.
Recently I have started to like what I make and this is my favorite to date.. the colours are so pretty.. I keep going back and looking at it and saying "I made this." in a surprised voice lol.

Beautiful colors and texture! Love all the different things you've used. Do you also use some of that heavy embossing powder? Or is it something else that looks similar?

Its actually texture paste with embossing powdre on it when its still wet .. the boiled up with a heat gun.. thats what gives the thick gloopy look to it.. :-) thanks for showing an interest

also .. sorry i looked at the picture again..maybe what you are seeing is the melted fantasy film too.. it looks thick and shiny.. if you go to Linda's blog (linked on mine in my list of blogs) she has a tutorial on adding and melting fantasy film to art! :-)

Beautiful - she has a sort of Romany look about her, as does the canvas - hmmmmmmmmm - wonder what she predicts?
