I did the other side today ,.. i decided rather than make it match, I would have it so that Katy can have it turned to the colour that fits her mood or what she is wearing or whatever.. so this side is sepia and rust. I am going to leave the sides blank so that people can see it is actually made from newspaper.
I love the bags and found out where to order more from. my only problem is some of the stories were very dire.. just as well it gets covered up! lol

I've just seen your newspaper bag over on MMM Zuzu so I came in to see what it's all about - OMGoodness, it's fabulous!!! First of all, weren't you lucky to be given the recycled bag in the first place - I've never seen them but now I want one!!! And secondly, you have done a phenomenal makeover with this! WOW!!! Well done you, that's some project!!! I know I would have given up long before I reached the second side!
FABULOUS!!! Stunning piece!!
Love your bag Louise it is fabulous Sarah x
Thanks for visiting my blog, wonderful things you make, like your colours, fun to look at all your different work.
Brill idea to have contrasting side and to leave the 'naked' sides so's people could see the base.
I think all news would benefit from being 'altered' to look nice instead of depressing.
xxxxxxx
