I was asked by Malcome at Crafty Individuals, If I could make a slide mailer using their images..
I was more than happy to as when there had been a problem with the postal strike causing my order to be late Crafty Individuals sent me some free slidemailers. And in return for making this and submitting images they also sent some lovely gifts. I am a very happy girl :-)
The main image inside the slide mailer is by crafty Individuals as is the text background stamp. the butterfly wings are also crafty individuals Images that I have tinted with chalk inks.
I made these for a swap with my friend Nellie. they are my first triangle ATCs .. not too happy with the unbalanced hights of the main images now they are in a row .. they looked fine individualy lol ...
I bought a couple of packs of these cultured stones with holes drilled in them .. the holes are not drilled the way I wanted them so I have had to twist wire round to hold them in the direction I like.
Also its a bad picture as there is a shine to the stones as well as the metallic marbling added so it kept reflecting the light and I have run out of natural daylight tut!. :-)
There is an ongoing "Play it forward" ATC swap on my forum and the theme I was to make for the next Person was "Flourishes" .. this is what I decided on .. the flourishes are held in place with little brads so that they can fold up and fit into the ATC pocket :-)
I have I am afraid gone with the very familiar style used for this theme by many many people .. I think personaly inspired by Tim Holtz. So nothing very new here. But its a style I am still very fond of!
I went wandering round blog land and by one method or another I came accross one called "A Time 4 Art" I dont know the artist and cant find any info not even in the profile but I wanted to acknowledge this blog anyway. Its gorgeous and full of wonderful things.
If the owner reads this by some fluke then I want you to know it is a very very inspiring Blog.
