Jo's card

This is the Birthday card I made for my friend Jo. Its centre is alcohol ink on glossy card and then the stamped image on acetate layered over it.
I forgot to take pictures of it but as I know Jo always does a better job of photo taking, perhaps I subconciously did it deliberately. These are the pictures Jo took for me.

  1. stunning card, love the technique you chose

  2. Wow the card is so great. I got acetate myself now, have already worked with it and made a butterfly for the tag for Jo, decided the colors were not this vibrant and made another one on glossy. ;)

  3. Breathtaking!... beautiful, beautiful work!

  4. I do like these cards, Will be good if we can find some much sturdier acetate to make them from.

They make a good visual statement that i feel many greetings cards lack, certainly one to notice on a shelf full of others.

    Keep up the good work.

  5. Aha - I was going to ask you about that. I am having trouble with the alcohol inks.
So you get the right technique you not only do it on shiny photo card - but do it on acetate and stick that to an ATC or whatever I guess.
